Emotional Resilience Journey #Week2Intro

 Hello Friends!


In this video I describe some of the takeaways I have had over the last week. Here's a list of the things I talk about:

  • When I've changed my lies to truths it's like my mind goes to work on how to make it true. Example: Spanish, replying to comments on blog (described in video)
  • The first of the week started out with gusto. Towards the end and especially through the weekend it petered out.
  • The amount of joy and happiness has increased as I have changed my thoughts and have taken action on ideas I've had.
  • My confidence has increased. 
  • I receive so much joy from seeing how others are benefiting from this information and from their comments of encouragement.


Today, I am going to start using another tool. After reading up on it, I am even more sure that this is the tool I want to work on next. 



The new tool for this week: GRATITUDE

The video lightly touches on some things I learned from my research. I included links below to articles and videos that have gratitude experiments and talk about the science behind gratitude. 

My plan for this week: 

  • Spend a few minutes every day writing about specific experiences, things, and people I'm grateful for that day. 
  • Also write down how I noticed God's hand in my life each day. 
  • Express gratitude to someone every day. 
  • Continue working on my Truths & Lies morning and night.
